This is a native tree orchid known as the Easter orchid or Ruapeka.
A stout-stemmed, mostly erect but sometimes drooping epiphytic orchid. Flowers are white and highly scented, 8mm wide and appear in sprays at the tips of the stems - flowers from February to April.
