Common Name silverhill

Silverhill is one of the early to ripen mandarins (around June usually) - it is easy peel and segments seperate very easily. Fruit is medium to large size and very sweet so a winner.

Plant in open sunny position and in good soil, we recommend you fertilise lightly three times per year - very early Spring, early Summer and then a light Autumn application

An oil spray in Winter to clean up any fungicidal problems and a copper spray in early Spring to knock out any thrip, mite or scale if evident is also recommended.

N.B We only grow these in 25 litre easy lift bags andn the plant will have been in that bag 15-18 months and be 1.2-1.4m tall.
